Matted Pets

We do charge a matt fee for pets where we need to spend more then 15 minutes to brush. Here are some recommendations on how to avoid mats and keep healthy, long and beautiful coats.

It's OK and to bathe your dog every 10-14 days. Always brush the coat before the bath and brush again while blow-drying after the bath.

Never let a matted coat air dry without brushing after bath, the mats will get even worst.

Use Conditioner or spray in de-tangle or both

Use both brush (usually a slicker brush) and comb.

We can put your pet on a regular bath & brush schedule in our shop.
It is more affordable then you might think.

Cornstarch is great to use when de-matting. Just rub some into the mats before brushing. Use only before a planned bath.
